Ok, how about the worst field

We've already got a thread going on the best field (although I am disappointed that my vote for Kent Memorial has mysteriously disappeared) so if you all could vote one field off the list of PSSBL "regulars" which one would it be??  I'd put up a fancy vote thingy like Josh but don't know how:)

A vote for Bellevue Highlands.  Its only redeeming quality is that it has lights.

I don't know if any games are scheduled there this year, but I would say Green River CC.  Or Lynnwood High.  May as well play on a sandlot in lieu of the latter.

     Eastlake Community Center.

From THIS year's repertoire of fields?

    Hmm...

    1) Green River CC (bad everything)

    2) Lynnwood HS (bad lighting at night, horrible infield, short dimensions)

    3) Chief Sealth HS (bad location, infield usually not prepped)

Not in my list of worst fields, but a field I was very UNimpressed with, especially after all the hype, was Steve Cox field.  The infield and mound are the only nice parts of the place...the dimensions are short, the outfield grass is lumpy and uneven, the dugouts are TINY...etc.

    Lynnwood HS for sure.

Green River CC is ridiculous - and even worse in the summer.  I'd agree with Lynwood HS except it's close to home so I can deal with it (any chance of adding Meadowdale HS to the list?  it's much better than Lynnwood).

Petrovisky from this year's group. I have heard awful things about Green River CC from everyone though. Lynnwood just needs to be mowed and I think it wouldn't be so bad. Grass hasn't been mowed since Fall I think.

Matt, Chief Sealth?  That is a very decent field. I'd play every game there and not complain. I agree Steve Cox very overhyped. Should be wood bat only field.

I agree with all the Green River CC votes so far, but I would also put Highland Park in Bellevue as a close second.  The infield is extremely rocky, and in the 5 years I have been playing, about half the home runs I have seen were hit there.

I vote for Petrovitsky.  They only prep once per day (in the morning), the mound gets bad quickly, the home plate area is a sand pit as well, and the CF fence is a pretty short porch.

yeah Chief Sealth bugs me...I've never had it nicely prepped, it's typically been pretty muddy, and I've lost every playoff game I've ever played there. So it's on my list. ;)

The worst field by far is Green River C.C. That field is terrible!! Infeild is rough, if you slide you def. gonna bleed!! The outfield is uneven.... I could go on and on! Another one is Rainer Beach! It is a really nice field, but where it is, really sucks!!

Nobody is mentioning Edmonds CC. Is that because it's being rebuilt?

Playing there last year, I could not believe a college played on that hillside they call a field. I know the school has had some major admin issues, but that slope was out of hand.

Yeah, Edmonds hardly counts since it's getting remodeled...and nobody is mentioning Dacca and/or North Snohomish since we're not there this year...

I would tentatively add Highland (probably nto playing there this season) and maybe Bobby Morris / Eastlake CC just because they have crappy dimensions, either no fence or a short fence. :)
